Christian Band’s First Book Has This Message for Kids

Contemporary Christian band CAIN just released their first book, “I’m So Blessed,” based on their hit song of the same name.
“We were so grateful for how much our fans have resonated with our song that we wanted to turn it into something you can hold in your hands and share with the kids in your lives,” CAIN said of the book. “We wanted to proclaim that the truth about God is that He will bless His children in every situation: good and bad.”
“I’m So Blessed” has over 26 million streams on Spotify and is a fan-favorite track.
A description of the book on the band’s website reads, “This interactive picture book invites kids and parents to sing about God’s blessings in every circumstance. Readers follow three siblings through their daily lives as they encounter challenges and frustrations but still praise God by singing their favorite truth: ‘I’m so blessed!’”
“We took the message from our song ‘I’m So Blessed’ to create a picture book where kids will read about Logo Lemon, Tay-Tay Tangerine, and Maddie Melon through their daily lives as they encounter challenges and frustrations, but still learn how to praise God,” Logan Cain said in a video shared to the band’s Instagram. “If kids have breath in their lungs, they can find joy in God’s blessing, and praise Him by singing the fruits’ favorite truth: ‘I’m so blessed!’”
In another post about “I’m So Blessed,” CAIN shared their hopes for what kids get out of the book.
“We pray this book leads to some sweet story time for a child in your life as they learn we are blessed because, above all else, we are children of the most high God,” they wrote.

The siblings behind the contemporary Christian band CAIN explained how putting God first in their lives ended up being the best thing for their careers.
After placing music as the first thing in their life and failing to find meaningful success, CAIN decided to call it quits and move on to different careers. As they took a step back from music, the first thing they decided to reintroduce into their lives was church.
“We decided, we’re gonna go back to church and the foundation that we were raised on, let’s give that another shot,” Taylor Cain told TBN. “Because, in pursuing your dreams – and this isn’t just for music – in pursuing any career, you give it your best shot but if it pulls you away from Sunday mornings and it pulls you away from the community of believers, it just doesn’t end well most times.”
Around that time, they got connected with a music manager who also attended that church. He asked the siblings to share some of their music with him. After they sent him the old country songs they had written, he asked them to try their hand at Christian music – something they had avoided in the past for fear of feeling constrained.
Instead, what they found was freedom and more creativity than they had felt before. This quickly led to a song, and only three months later, they signed their first record deal.
“If anything, it shows you about this getting in line with the will of God,” said Madison Johnson. “You know, not that it makes everything easier but you can just feel this wind behind your back of the pleasure of God.
