Women’s basketball star Caitlin Clark always knew what she wanted to be when she grew up.

In the ESPN series FULL COURT PRESS, Clark and her family shared a precious video of her pretending to be a professional athlete when she was a kid.

“We used to play this game at home where Brent would get on the Mr. Microphone, and we’d flash the lights and practice running out of the mud room,” Clark’s mom said.

“The sweet home video shows a young Caitlin, referred to as ‘Caity’ in the video, running out of a door dressed in Iowa Hawkeyes gear as she imagines what it’d be like to run out onto the court as a professional athlete,” PEOPLE reported.

“Ladies and gentlemen, starting for the Iowa Hawkeyes, Caity Clark,” a voice in the video said.

“I’d like, run out and do a lap,” Clark remembered. “So, it’s like, honestly, I’ve dreamed of this moment since I was a little kid.”

Clark went on to become a star for the Iowa Hawkeyes and broke multiple school and NCAA records.

Movieguide® previously reported on her record-breaking season:

Iowa women’s basketball star Caitlin Clark is the talk of the sports world.

Clark, who just recently broke the record for the most points scored by any female collegiate basketball player, is also on her way to scoring the most points in collegiate history for both men and women.

She also just surpassed Lynette Woodard for the most 3-pointers made in a single season.

She was recently the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft where she was selected by the Indiana Fever.

“dreams to reality? INDY LETS GET IT‼️” she posted after being drafted.

In her first-ever Fever showing, Clark scored 21 points and made five shots from beyond the arc.
