Every year, mainstream, western media works to muffle the greatest moment in human history, the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
While Hollywood has plenty of movies that focus on bunnies, eggs and other distractions, there are still those in Hollywood who took to Instagram to share the good news of the Gospel this Easter.
Actress Candace Cameron Bure posted a photo with her family, noting: “Happy Easter ✝️ He is risen 🙌🏼💐. He is alive.”
The Great American Family actress and producer also posted scripture in a separate picture: “Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son and the Holy Sprirt. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20. ✝️ Jesus is Lord! 🙌🏼 He is risen indeed!!!”
Friend and fellow Great American Family actress Danica McKellar also posted a picture with her family.
“Happy Easter!! What a beautiful service this morning celebrating the miraculous resurrection,” she wrote on Instagram. “Grateful to be with lots of family on Easter today! (Pictured here with my 12-year-old son, who is starting to look like a teenager, and my 73-year-old dad…who still looks a little like a teenager. 😋) Wishing every single person reading this the most wonderful feeling of peace and JOY today.”
Actor Mark Wahlberg shared a video of him walking into a church service after wishing his fans a Happy Resurrection Day.
