- Content: Candace Cameron Bure Encourages Fans Read God’s Word in 2023: ‘You’ll Be Encouraged’

Actress Candace Cameron Bure recently took to social media to encourage her followers to read through the entire Bible in 2023.
Bure said that her goal was to read through the Bible in a year using the Bible Racap plan, which features a podcast and words from Tara-Leigh Cobble’s devotional book alongside daily reading.
“Who’s reading and listening to the @thebiblerecap with me? If you haven’t started, it’s never too late! You’ll be so encouraged to read the entire Bible chronologically with @taraleighcobble because she’s fun and helps us see who God is in the Bible – not just ourselves,” Bure wrote on Instagram.
Cobble and Bure co-host The Candace Cameron Bure Podcast.
Cobble said that she hopes the Bible Recap plan will help Christians in their understanding of the Bible.
“I wanted this to be different from a lot of daily Bible reading plans that always end with an application of how you should apply the lessons you’ve learned,” Cobble told Forbes in an interview. “They’re usually something about what does it tell you about your life and how you should live. I just feel like that’s a broken lens through which to view Scripture. The primary role of Scripture is to show me who God is, and if I behold God, then my life will naturally begin to conform around what I learned about Him.”
Also participating in the Bible reading plan is actress Danica Mckellar, who recently appeared on The Candace Cameron Bure podcast to discuss faith.

Because of you helping me to find my relationship with God and Jesus, it’s been like a revolution in my life. It’s been a revelation in my life.”
She continued, “You gave me this Bible that I read all the time and I love it so much and I go to church now and I just, I talk to Jesus all the time every day. It’s unbelievable. And you were like my guide. You were just an angel in my life and you still are. And I just wanna thank you for that publicly.”
