Candace Cameron Bure Gets Major Update to GAF Christmas Lineup

Great American Family has announced an exciting new movie to add to its catalog of Christmas films.
HOME SWEET CHRISTMAS, starring Candace Cameron Cure and Cameron Mathison, is set to premiere during this year’s Great American Christmas.
The pair were originally slated for JINGLE BELLS, WEDDING BELLS, but that movie won’t go into production this year.
“In HOME SWEET CHRISTMAS, Sophie Marlow (Bure), a successful mergers and acquisitions attorney, is called home to Waynesbridge, Washington, following her great uncle’s passing,” the synopsis reads. “Uncle Henry left Sophie 60% ownership in his Marlow Maple Meadows, a sprawling patch of sugar maple forest. Though Sophie hasn’t been on the property in decades, she immediately begins retracing the happy steps of her youth before encountering Sam (Mathison), her long-lost, childhood friend. Sam has returned to the farm after learning Henry left him the other 40% of the property. The legacy property means a quick sale is likely, though Sophie and Sam will discover neither of them is ready to let go just yet.”
Bure took to Instagram to share her excitement for the film.
“HOME SWEET CHRISTMAS ??❄️ coming to a @greatamericanfamily channel this Christmas season ?✨” she captioned in the post. “We’ve been waiting 15 years to do a Christmas movie together and it’s finally happening!!! We can’t wait for you to enjoy this movie alongside your family ❤️ #greatamericanfamily #greatamericanchristmas #homesweetchristmas.”

“Paula Elle directs the film from a script by Kevin Commins and Robin Dunne,” The Hollywood reported shared. “Mick MacKay produces the movie, while executive producers include Cameron Bure, Ford Englerth, Jeffery Brooks, Holly A. Hines, Eric Jarboe, Gerald Webb, Trevor McWhinney, Paula Elle and Martin Wood.”
HOME SWEET CHRISTMAS is “a Syrup Studios production in association with Candy Rock Entertainment.”

Great American Family is sharing a sneak peek at the upcoming Christmas movie A CHRISTMAS LESS TRAVELED, starring Cameron Candace Bure.
“The Dine and Dash Diner has a stack of mounting unpaid bills, forcing its owner, Desi (Bure), to sell her beloved, mint condition, cherry red 1964 Ford F-100, a gift from her deceased father,” a synopsis of the movie reads. “As Desi visits the vintage truck one last time, she discovers a recorded message from her dad on an old audio cassette.”
The synopsis continues, “Desi’s dad’s voice sends her and ‘Old Red’ out to retrace her family’s most memorable moments one last time. Just as the journey begins, Desi meets Greyson (Eric Johnson) who offers her a generous payment in exchange for a ride to ‘close the most important deal’ of his life. Little do Desi and Greyson realize the less traveled road will reveal more about each of them than they could have ever known.”
In a statement about A CHRISTMAS LESS TRAVELED, produced through Bure’s CandyRock Entertainment company, the actress said the movie “gently challenges us to truly embrace every moment we share with our families, friends and loved ones. It reminds us that forgiving ourselves and others is the pathway to set ourselves free.”
