CAPTAIN AMERICA star Chris Evans attacked President’s Trumps leadership during the coronavirus outbreak.
“The president just ran off stage after his rambling press conference without answering a single question,” tweeted CAPTAIN AMERICA actor Chris Evans. “America wants answers. America wants leadership. America doesn’t want a president who runs off stage during a crisis and lets Mike Pence do all the talking.”

It’s not a shocker that many Hollywood A-listers have poor things to say about the current administration. Americans no matter their view have the right to freedom of speech of course.
However, irony abounds in the case of Evans.
As Movieguide® previously observed about Evans’s CAPTAIN AMERICA character Steve Rogers:
While Steve’s religious beliefs aren’t touched upon elsewhere in the movies, and seldom in the comic books, it’s crucial to understand that Steve believes in something higher. If you go a step further and look at the source material, that “something higher” is clearly the one God of the Bible.
Evans told The Hollywood Reporter in 2019 about his anti-Trump remarks, “You don’t want to alienate half your audience. But I’d be disappointed in myself if I didn’t speak up.”
Still, Trump’s administration is doing plenty of good during this time of high stakes.
On March 15, 2020, Trump called for a National Day of Prayer in hopes to alleviate anxious thoughts about the spread of the coronavirus. Trump also pinned an encouraging tweet to the top of his verified social media account to ease the public’s mind stating, “We will prevail.”

Evans has publicly stated that he’s fascinated by Eastern religions so, let’s use this as an opportunity to pray that the Holy Spirit would convict Evans of the saving grace of Jesus Christ!
Let’s also pray for Trump and the U.S.A., that it would stay “one nation under God” in these times of uncertainty.
