Other recognizable Christian names like Tori Kelly, Chip and Joanna Gaines, and Movieguide® Visionary Award winner Kathie Lee Gifford have participated in I Am Second® interviews.
“Since first filming with I Am Second six years ago, I have seen God continue to grow my faith as Carrie and I have together walked through the natural joys and struggles of life,” Fisher said. “This new series is not only a continuation of the 2014 White Chair film, but hopefully a reminder to individuals of God’s faithfulness in all situations.”
While Fisher and Underwood have each publicly spoken about their personal paths in the past, the new I Am Second series provides a specific, intimate look into their relationship, parenting journey and faith.
Fisher and Underwood married in July 2010 and are the parents of two boys, Isaiah and Jacob.
Underwood was open about her troubles conceiving but during all the heartache, she and Fisher continued to look to God.
