Cassidy Gifford Is ‘Praising Jesus’ After Pregnancy Announcement

Kathie Lee Gifford’s daughter Cassidy and her husband Ben Wierda are having a baby!
Cassidy announced her pregnancy in a cute holiday post featuring a photo of three stockings hanging over the fireplace.
“A whole lot extra to be praising Jesus for this Christmas,” she captioned the picture. “Our little peanut arriving June 2023 Jeremiah 1:5”

Cassidy’s manager confirmed the news to PEOPLE and said, “Ben and Cassidy got married in an intimate setting in his backyard in Michigan. They’re planning on having a big celebration when it’s safe to do so in the future.”
The former TODAY host shared a photo on Instagram hinting that Cassidy and her new son-in-law, Ben, tied the knot on June 6.
The caption read, “When the mother of the bride can’t contain her joy!!!”
News of Cassidy’s engagement broke in November, with Gifford sharing a photo of the couple thanking the Lord that her daughter was engaged to a “wonderful” man.
Gifford is an outspoken Christian, sharing her faith boldly on social media.
Earlier this year, Gifford was honored with the Visionary Award at the 28th Annual Movieguide® Awards.
Her speech was packed full of biblical truth.
“Here’s the thing. Our dreams are born before we are, in our mother’s womb,” Gifford said. “We’re wonderfully fearfully made. God has a purpose and a plan for all of us.”
