Marvel Stars Reunite for This Super Bowl Ad

Meta will advertise its fancy Ray-Ban Meta Glasses at Super Bowl LIX, with some help from Chris Pratt and Chris Hemsworth.
The glasses allow their wearer to take calls, listen to music and take photos and videos. The glasses use AI features and respond to voice commands.
The actors gave fans some teasers of the commercial on their social media accounts.
“👀👓 🏈 See you on 02.09.25,” Pratt captioned the short video.
X-MEN: FIRST CLASS director Matthew Vaughn will direct the commercial. Meta hasn’t stated when the commercial will appear during the game.
As wearable devices become trendier, Meta isn’t the only one to give smart glasses a try. Google and Snap are a couple of other companies that have. Per the International Data Corp., wearable device shipments were projected to increase by 6.1% last year.

Meta previously used the Super Bowl to advertise when it launched its VR headset, Meta Quest 2 and its Horizon Worlds game.
Meta recently launched another commercial to advertise the eyewear with Anderson .Paak, Tinashe and James Blake.
The ad features Anderson .Paak asking his glasses to remind him who will be at a party. The glasses tell him Tinashe will be there, and it cuts to the singer asking her glasses to assist her with her pool game. The glasses tell her to hit the yellow ball.
Anderson .Paak’s glasses also tell him James Blake will attend the party. Blake arrives with his glasses. By turning on Transitions mode, he records a video of himself greeting Anderson .Paak. The ad ends with Anderson .Paak looking at his band through his eyewear.
Other companies in the Super Bowl ad race are Doritos, Bud Light, Budweiser (when is it not?), FanDuel, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, Taco Bell, Stella Artois, Hellman’s Mayonnaise, GoDaddy, Häagen-Dazs, MSC Cruises, Squarespace, Pringles and Michelob Ultra.
Some of the actors featured in the commercials are Drew Barrymore, Catherine O’Hara, Willem Dafoe and Nick Offerman.
