Even in its ninth year, Chris Tomlin’s “Good Friday Nashville” concert continues to sell out at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
Good Friday Nashville is a worship event that features many of today’s Christian voices. This year, the concert welcomed Luke Bryan, Jenn Johnson, Phil Wickham, Brooke Ligertwood and Max Lucado.
Tomlin took to his Instagram to share clips from this year’s event along with a heartfelt caption.
“Good Friday Nashville is about ONE thing — THE CROSS,” Tomlin began. “All streams and traditions of the Church coming together as one to remember the sacrifice and celebrate of the gift of Jesus. If you missed it or if you want to experience it a second time, @klove is broadcasting AGAIN tonight at 8pm ET / 7pm CT / 5pm PT on your local K-LOVE station!”
He concluded, “Good Friday Nashville 2026 is already over 50% sold! I would be honored if you would join me for YEAR 10 — April 3, 2026!”
People in the comment section expressed their excitement for the event. “Bought our tickets yesterday! Last night was so amazing and can’t wait till next year!” one user said. “Gets better every year 😍” another person added.
The Bridgestone arena seats approximately 20,000 people, and 60% of that has already sold for next year’s event.
Tomlin has made it his mission to bring worship to people all across the country.
Following up Good Friday Nashville, Tomlin will take on “Worship Under The Stars,” a special tour that will visit outdoor venues across the country:
-
July 11 – New York City, NY – Central Park
-
July 12 – Baltimore, MD – Pier 6
-
October 21 – Denver, CO – Red Rocks Amphitheatre
In an announcement back in January, Tomlin said, “One of the things I love about worship is it causes us to lift our eyes off of ourselves for a minute — to remember the goodness of God, the greatness of God, the mercy of God, the power of God…especially when we’re in His creation. That is exactly what these nights of Worship Under The Stars are about!”
Last year, the singer received praise for his song “Holy Forever,” which he created alongside Jenn and Brian Johnson, Phil Wickham and Jason Ingram. The worship song is “RIAA certified Gold plaque for the Grammy and Billboard Music Award nominated.”
The lyrics read “Your name is the highest / Your name is the greatest / Your name stands above them all / All thrones and dominions / All powers and positions / Your name stands above them all.”
Whether he’s touring the country or releasing a new song, Tomlin’s focus is always on worshipping our Creator and pointing others back to Him.
