Country Singer Celebrates Return of ‘Pride in Our Nation’

Country singer Craig Morgan is happy to see more “pride in our nation” these days.

“I’m already seeing the changes that I’d love to see,” he told Fox News about President Trump’s first weeks in office during his second term. “I think the biggest thing is the pride in our nation, and the pride that the men and women of our military have and should have and should be able to display. They should be proud of their service to their country.”

Morgan, who has served in the U.S. Army, added, “When I was going through basic training, our motto was literally, ‘Be proud.’ And I’ve always said this, and I believe this to this day, and I feel like we’re getting this back. That sense of pride — well-balanced with a sense of humility.”

“It’s not to say that we’re not going to have hurdles. It’s going to be difficult. It always has been and always will be,” he continued. “But I think the biggest thing is confidence in our stability — both financially and security as a nation. If we are not a secure nation, all of the other things don’t matter.”

Moran concluded, “So it’s important that we maintain a sense of security as a nation and I feel like we’re seeing those things come around.”

Morgan is currently celebrating the release of his latest EP, American Soundtrack

“I believe most people in this nation can relate to something in each song on this project,” he wrote in an Instagram post about the project. “I absolutely love songwriting. God has given me a gift that allows me to impact other people’s lives. That is a blessing and I’ve learned not to take it for granted.”

In an interview with Muscle And Fitness, Morgan said, “My platform has always been God, family, and country — always. Those are the three most important things in my life, and I always resort to those elements in my music.”

He’s also getting ready to hit the road with Blake Shelton for his 2025 “Friends & Heroes” summer tour.

“We’ve been dear friends for a long time,” Morgan said of Shelton. “I can honestly say he’s one of my best friends in the music business. Maybe my best friend in the music business.”

He continued, “But we don’t get to see each other like everybody would think we do. We’re not like hanging out together all the time. And we both have such busy lives, and we’re doing different things. So it’s really exciting to know that we’re going to be able to see each other every day and hang out and visit.”
