“This year, we’re not just celebrating the incredible music these artists have created — we’re celebrating a movement that has been building for 12 years. These artists bring hope and healing to a world that needs it more than ever, and their music deserves to be honored in a way that truly reflects its impact. We look forward to inviting Christian music fans to celebrate with us for an unforgettable night next April,” We Love Christian Music’s and NewsReleaseToday’s founder, Kevin McNeese, said last year.

The Awards feature 22 categories and 76 artist nominations. Nominees include Crowder, Jordan Feliz, Josiah Queen, CeCe Winans, Torey D’Shaun, Skillet, Forrest Frank, Hulvey, Brandon Heath, Colton Dixon and more.
According to the Awards’ website, the Awards show is put on by NewsReleaseToday, “the largest Christian music site online” that was founded in 2002. NRT’s mission is to introduce music fans to as much faith-based music as it can. Besides sharing news about Christian music, the site allows fans to connect and share music videos, reviews, and other content.
The first award show was in 2012, but this is the first time it will be hosted in person. While the categories are decided by NewsRealeaseToday’s editorial staff, voters select who they want to win. This year, the awards received 28,000 fan votes.
The annual “WE LOVE AWARDS has been more than just an event; it’s a mission,” said McNeese. “We’re only scratching the surface of what’s possible. With God’s guidance, we’re expanding our vision to ensure that this life-changing music reaches even more people. We’re humbled and excited to see how these partnerships will help us take the WE LOVE AWARDS to new heights.”
The winners will be announced on April 8 at The Factory in Franklin, Tennessee.
