Dave and Jenny Marrs just celebrated 20 years of marriage, full of “abundant joy” and “extravagant blessings.”
“As I type these words, looking out the window of our home as the wind whips through the trees, I see you carrying leftover roofing materials inside,” Jenny Marrs wrote in an Instagram post. “They’re in the yard and you’re storing them in the barn before the storm rolls in. Because, that’s who you are: Selflessly thinking ahead about how to best care for and protect your family.”
She recalled the couple’s “windy spring” wedding day, when they “recited our vows with glistening eyes and full hearts.”
“We were babies — stating words that were said years before by our parents and their parents — not fully understanding their meaning,” Jenny shared. “Yet, we knew that the vows and promises we made that day were being echoed in eternity. We knew that our life together would be built on a firm foundation of faith and we would face whatever lie ahead, together.”
She continued, “Even though we shared big dreams for our life together, we had no clue that God had plans for our life that we couldn’t have begun to hope for or dream up on our own.”
“At the time, we were just two kids hopelessly in love. Now, we are still those same two kids, and, as the years have unfolded (more quickly than we could have expected), our love has only grown deeper and stronger,” Jenny wrote. “Together, we have walked through dark valleys and faced intense trials. Together, we have celebrated abundant joy and marveled at our extravagant blessings (five to be exact). And, together, we have adventured and laughed and worked and loved. Together. Always, together.”
She concluded, “I couldn’t imagine anyone else by my side. Happy 20th anniversary, my love!”
Dave also posted a sweet message in celebration of their 20th anniversary, writing, “20 years together today! Happy anniversary to the best partner a guy could ever ask for.”
“I have no idea what the next 20 years has in store for us, but I can’t wait to experience it with you,” he finished. “I love you!”

The Marrses recently announced an exciting new business venture — Marrs on Main, a new brick-and-mortar store in their hometown of Bentonville, Arkansas.
“We love our community and are always looking for opportunities to highlight the incredible local artisans we work with,” Jenny told Downtown Bentonville, adding that the store will offer “handmade pottery, leather goods, art, and home decor.”
“Much like our Centerton location, our hope for Marrs on Main is that it is a place where the things we sell each tell a story and encourage visitors to seek beauty in all things and in all people,” she said.
Five kids, a successful HGTV show and plenty of new projects — who knows what the Marrses’ next 20 years will bring!
