By Movieguide® Staff

Bernard is back!

You can’t have Santa’s workshop without his faithful elves. Actor David Krumholtz is back for more holiday cheer as he reprises his role as Bernard the Elf, alongside his THE SANTA CLAUS co-star Tim Allen, in an upcoming Disney+ spinoff series, THE SANTA CLAUSES.

To the applause of fans, Krumholtz will reunite with Allen and Elizabeth Mitchell. They played Mr. and Mrs. Claus in the original movies from 1994 and 2002.

Krumholtz became a fan favorite as Santa’s right-hand elf and starred in both the original movies.

Deadline reported:

In the Disney+ series, Scott is on the brink of his 65th birthday and realizing that he can’t be Santa forever. He’s suddenly starting to lose his Santa magic, and more importantly, he’s got a family who could benefit from a life in the normal world, especially his two kids who have grown up at the North Pole. With a lot of elves, children and family to please, Scott sets out to find a suitable replacement Santa while preparing his family for a new adventure in a life south of the pole.

Movieguide® previously reported:
