Lifetime is bringing iconic soap opera stars Loni Anderson, Donna Mills, Morgan Fairchild, Linda Gray and Nicollette Sheridan together for the Christmas movie LADIES OF THE ‘80S: A DIVA CHRISTMAS.

A synopsis of the movie reads, “Anderson, Mills, Fairchild, Gray, and Sheridan play former soap opera stars who have been called back to their former (fictional) series, The Great Lakes, for a special Christmas episode.”

“The movie follows the five soap opera divas readying for a reunion show who take on playing cupid during Christmas to bring together their director, Emma (Taylor Ann Thompson), and producer, Logan (Travis Burns), as they all learn the meaning of true Christmas spirit,” the description continued.

The movie will see many of these soap opera leading ladies reunite onscreen for the first time in years—Mills and Sheridan worked together on KNOTS LANDING, while Fairchild and Sheridan were both in PAPER DOLLS.

Deadline revealed “Eighties’ heartthrob Christopher Atkins, along with Patrika Darbo, Alec Mapa and Donna Mills’ real-life daughter, Chloe Mills, also star” in the movie.

In a statement about LADIES OF THE ‘80S, executive producer Larry A. Thompson said, “The opportunity to bring together Donna, Morgan, Loni, Linda and Nicollette—five powerhouse women into one holiday movie—has been like finding the perfect gift under the Christmas tree.”

In addition to the ’80s-era stars, Entertainment Weekly reported that “’80s shopping mall pop star Tiffany” will perform the movie’s theme song.

LADIES OF THE ‘80S: A DIVA CHRISTMAS will be part of Lifetime’s “It’s A Wonderful Lifetime” holiday season lineup, but an official release date has not been announced.

Movieguide® previously reported on Mills:

KNOTS LANDING star Donna Mills recently shared how adopting her first child in her 50s changed her life.

“I was very concentrated on my career, but at a certain point, I realized there was something missing — it was a child,” Mills explained. “So I went after it. I adopted her when she was 4 days old…”

“I took off 18 years. I didn’t work,” Mills said. “Well, the first couple of years, I did work. I did some movies for television and stuff like that, because I could take her wherever I went. But then when she started school, I wasn’t going to go out of town for two months at a time. And I didn’t become a mother to give her to a nanny.”

Mills’ daughter, Chloe, is now 27, and the mother and daughter are very close.
