Donny Osm0nd Will ‘Never Say Never’ to Musical Reunion with Marie

Donny Osmond recently revealed whether he and his sister Marie will ever work together again.

“It was always assumed that Donny and Marie would come back together and do something ’cause we ended our show in ’78, ’79 and in [1998], we came back together again to do a talk show and I thought, ‘This is gonna be interesting. This is gonna be kind of fun. Let’s go for it, Marie,'” Osmond reflected.

However, the singer is unsure about a potential reunion.

“I have been in this business for a long time. I learned to never say never, but there’s nothing in the back of my mind, and I don’t think there is in the back of Marie’s mind of reuniting,” he explained. “Maybe a one-off, but to do a Las Vegas performance like we did for 11 years, with the DONNY & MARIE talk show for several years, there’s nothing that has really sparked both of our minds yet.”

Even though he doesn’t foresee a Donny and Marie reunion, the singer still has plenty to keep him busy. Osmond is currently preparing for his upcoming “Donny” tour, as well as continuing his Las Vegas residency.

“Sometimes when artists go out on the road, they take that show on the road, they pare it down. So it’s a little bit more cost effective. I’m not doing that,” Osmond laughed. “I’m bringing the entire production out to Fallsview [Canada]. It’s the full Las Vegas show. All the dancers, the band, the technical aspects, the screens, the lights, the production.”

Osmond is also dedicated to his family. He is a father to five kids and has 14 grandkids, which can lead to “sweet chaos” when they all get together.

“We had a Fourth of July party just not long ago and had everybody over,” he shared, adding that he and his wife Debbie “had the time of our lives.”
