WATCH: Eagles RB Shares Adorable Pregame Handshakes with His Kids

A video of Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley and his kids surfaced, and it’s adorable.
The video posted on Fox Sports‘ X page shows the father of two sharing pregame handshakes and kisses with daughter Jada and son Saquon Jr.
The Eagles beat the Washington Commanders in a 55-23 win on Sunday, sending the team to Super Bowl LIX. After the game, Barkley and his family posed for pictures on the field to celebrate.
“If I could wrap my arms around this memory, I would…” Barkley’s girlfriend wrote on social media.
This is Barkley’s first year with the Eagles and his first-ever Super Bowl appearance. Last year, when he was traded from the Giants to the Eagles, Jada was unsure about what it exactly meant for her dad.

“She knows there’s a lot of history in my career with the Eagles,” Barkley said in a video with Crossing Broad. “When I told her that we’re going to be going to Philly, she kind of was just like, ‘Does that mean we’re going to win now?’ And I just started smiling again and I was like, ‘Hopefully, hopefully we can win some more games.'”
Throughout his time in New York, Barkley became one of the top running backs in all of franchise history. He acquired 5,211 rushing yards which makes him fourth all-time for the Giants.
“The last six years, they’ve been great to me and to my family,” Barkley said. “I don’t think I really handled it the right way on social media. I think I could have given it a proper goodbye. Once I announced I was going to the Eagles, everything kinda got hectic.
“I’m forever grateful for Giants fans and thankful for them,” he added. “Unfortunately, the NFL’s a business and I was able to get to a place that I know I can come here, I can compete, I can win, I can stay close to home. And I’m just happy I can be a part of this team.”
