Erin Napier on How One Person Can Change Everything

Erin Napier reflected on the impact just one person can have on many lives in a recent Instagram post.
“You ever thought about how different your life would be if one thing had been different? If one person hadn’t been part of it?” the HGTV star asked her followers under a photo of her husband Ben and their friend Chase Courtney.
Napier then explained that Chase and Ben were roommates at Jones College. The pair decided they would attend Ole Miss together after junior college.
“Then we [Ben and I] met, and I didn’t want to go to Savannah College of Art so much anymore if he was going to be in Oxford. So I enrolled with him. But then Chase joined the military and our paths diverged,” Napier wrote.
While attending Ole Miss, Napier roomed with a girl named Mallorie, who she later introduced to her cousin, Jim.
“They got married and had two babies. So what I’m really saying is… Lucy and Lottie exist because of this guy right here. Chase,” she explained.
Napier then asked her followers, “What else would have been different in our lives if just ONE thing had been different?”
She also shared that Chase will feature in a “special episode” of HOME TOWN next year.
Napier’s post is an excellent reminder of the impact we all have on each other’s lives, no matter how small it might seem at the time.
