Erin Napier Shares Peek at Seaside Summer Fun with Daughters

Erin Napier is enjoying an ocean-filled vacation with her two kiddos this summer.
“The HGTV HOME TOWN co-host, 38, shared a glimpse on Tuesday, July 9, into her summer beachside activities with her daughters Helen, 6, and Mae, 3, whom she shares with her co-host and husband Ben Napier,” PEOPLE reported July 9.
“She shared an Instagram video set to Haim’s song ‘Summer Girl,’ which began by showing several palm trees blowing in the wind in front of a clear blue sky. She then cut to an adorable scene of her two daughters splashing in the waves during sunset. The girls could be seen lifting their legs up high and then stomping back down as the waves came in.”
Erin also showed her followers some seashells and a dolphin swimming.
“Summer (let’s forget the meltdowns and missed naps?),” she quipped in her caption.
On June 8, Erin greeted the new season with an Instagram post she simply captioned, “Summer is here.”
She showed a hand picking raspberries, a sun room, someone’s shadow on bright grass, hand-drawn art from her daughters and a blow-up pool on her porch.
The most recent season of the Napiers’ HGTV show, HOME TOWN TAKEOVER, was filmed in Sebring, Florida. As the title suggests, the show is usually filmed in their hometown in Laurel, Mississippi.
“Their life here was totally different from our life [in Mississippi],” said Ben of their daughters. “They’re on vacation, they’ve been swimming every day.”
“They swim and fish and take field trips to the orange grove. This is a dream for them,” Erin added. “We’ve had summer vacation feelings the whole time, even though we’re working harder than we’ve ever worked in our lives.”
The Napiers also celebrated their youngest daughter, Mae’s, birthday this summer.
“Our tiny baby is THREE and all she wanted was a Christmas party, so we made Christmas cookies and lit Christmas candles, brought a little potted tree with ornaments on the porch and grilled hot dogs, blew up a waterslide in the yard and listened to Bing Crosby,” Erin said.

Despite everything that is going on in Napier and her husband Ben’s lives, from home renovations to writing books, the couple always put their daughters first.
“Every day at lunch we come home and eat with the girls, and we see them at least once or twice between 8 and 5,” Napier explained. “It’s a very strange career we found ourselves in, and we want the girls to be a part of our life in every way.”
