Fact or Fiction?

A London Daily Mail survey reports that 25% of Britons believe Prime Minister Winston Churchill, who led his people to victory over Hitler’s National Socialist onslaught, was a fictional character. They also think historical figures such as Florence Nightingale, Sir Walter Raleigh, Cleopatra, and Mahatma Gandhi are also fictional characters created for literature or movies.
Conversely, they believe Sherlock Holmes, the fictional detective created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, was a real person!
Not so elementary, my dear MOVIEGUIDE® reader.
