Internet personalities Kim and Penn Holderness, known for their family-friendly YouTube content, recently won season 33 of CBS’ THE AMAZING RACE.
The couple took home the $1 million prize after two months of challenges across several countries.
Due to COVID-19, contestants were forced to take months off before returning to the competition. The final episode, which took place in Los Angeles, California, aired on March 2, 2022, but was filmed in October 2021.
Kim and Penn, who are outspoken about their desire for age-appropriate content, said they would share their winnings through a “sharing program” and pay for their children’s college education, according to CBS 17.
The couple married in 2005 and share two children, Lola, 14, and Penn Charles, 11.
Their unity as a family takes center stage in most of their content on YouTube, especially in classic videos like the family’s 2013 Christmas music video.
“People of faith generally are a little more G-rated,” Penn told CVX Live in an interview from 2017. “It’s the type of content everyone can enjoy and everyone can digest.”
“People of the faith-based channels and faith-based families are probably a little more positive,” Kim added. “I do believe no matter what you read, that people are looking for positivity on the internet.”
