Fellowship of Christian Athletes Handed Out Thousands of Bibles in 2024
By Movieguide® Contributor
The Fellowship of Christian Athletes ended 2024 on a high, calculating that the organization distributed over 200,000 Bibles around the world this year.
“FCA hosted 1,042 total camps last year in the U.S. and internationally with more than 110,000 campers. The camps are a dedicated place for coaches and athletes to invest in their sport, their team, and — most importantly — their faith. The ministry focuses on fostering a coach’s or an athlete’s relationship with Christ. One way they do that is by distributing an FCA Bible to every person who attends the camp,” CBN said.
“This year, FCA distributed 219,444 Bibles to help coaches and athletes develop a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church,” the outlet added.

JubileeCast noted that “FCA is one of the most committed Bible distributors in the world, printing about 200,000 Bibles every year and distributing nearly 3 million Bibles around the world in the past 15 years.”
“We are committed to God’s Word and biblical truth, and we continue to be amazed at what God is doing to get His Word into the hands of coaches and athletes around the world,” FCA President and CEO Shane Williamson said, celebrating the milestone. “This is why we do what we do, and we pray for God’s presence to be life-changing at all of our camps across the world this year.”
The Bibles aren’t the only thing the organization is celebrating.
In the 2024 fiscal year, the organization also saw “53,158 total faith decisions — 43,065 in the United States and 10,093 internationally — through its various Camps, Huddles, Fields of Faith events and other opportunities. This staggering number reveals the desire in many coaches and athletes to have a relationship with their Savior — something that FCA is dedicated to fostering.”
“Our purpose is not to simply run, but to run to Jesus and bring Him glory. When we start to fulfill that purpose, we will begin to experience the intensity of joy and fulfillment the Lord brings us,” an FCA X post explained.
Another post on their X page said, “Pro athletes are some of the most glorified humans today. It’s refreshing to see one point upward giving credit for their success to God. It’s a public reminder that they know that the glory they are given is nothing compared to the glory that God deserves.”
WNBA forward Adrian Williams-Strong was a FCA camp Huddle leader. She credits the camp as “one of the best experiences of my life. One thing I brought back from camp was a quiet time. We would have it every day. It was like a listening time trying to hear from God, and ever since then I have been doing that.”
