FLIP OR FLOP stars Tarek El Moussa and Christina Haak are sticking around on HGTV. The pair just signed a multi-year talent deal with the home improvement network.

“Tarek and Christina are an important part of the HGTV programming strategy with their magnetic personalities and the real estate savvy that it takes to make consistently profitable renovation and design decisions,” said Jane Latman, president, HGTV & Streaming Home Content, Discovery, Inc. “We’re excited for the future and now their millions of fans can look forward to more great star-powered content.”

In addition to their appearances on FLIP OR FLOP, both El Moussa and Haak have their own solo shows for HGTV: FLIPPING 101 WITH TAREK EL MOUSSA and CHRISTINA ON THE COAST.

CHRISTINA ON THE COAST’s new season is set to premier later this year and will focus on Haak as she manages her design business, takes care of her three kids, and maintains a healthy lifestyle.

El Moussa’s show, which will start airing again next year, will follow the home renovator as he coaches and mentors first-time house-flippers.

FLIP OR FLOP originally went off the air for a short time while El Moussa battled cancer.

Movieguide® previously reported on El Moussa’s health struggles:

After two battles with cancer, HGTV FLIP OR FLOP star Tarek El Moussa raises awareness about men’s health issues and shares what he learned from his cancer fight.

Thankfully, El Moussa beat both cancers and is motivated to live a healthy life for the sake of his children.

“[I’m] healthier than I’ve ever been in my life,” El Moussa said. “I’ve never eaten so clean, I’ve never taken so many vitamins, I’ve never gotten so much exercise. So I’m just taking care of my health. I want to live. I want to live for my kids. I want to live for my grandkids. You only get one life. You only have one body.”

In 2013, a fan of the popular home improvement show noticed a lump on El Moussa’s neck and wrote to the producers that it looked like thyroid cancer.

The fan’s, a registered nurse, assumption proved correct, and after further diagnosis, El Moussa discovered he had testicular cancer and thyroid cancer.

After a few weeks of processing his diagnosis, El Moussa scheduled his surgeries and radioactive iodine therapy and successfully beat the cancers.

All three shows are available to stream now on discovery+.
