for KING + COUNTRY Drops Major Update About Christmas Concert Movie

A special Christmas experience is expanding its reach this year.
“4x GRAMMY® Award winning duo for KING + COUNTRY in partnership with Fathom have announced their beloved holiday tradition A DRUMMER BOY CHRISTMAS LIVE: THE CINEMATIC CONCERT EXPERIENCE has extended its theatrical run and will also now open in more countries around the globe!” a press release announced.
“Ticket sales for the holiday concert spectacle have been so strong that more show dates have been added,” it continued. “The concert film will now remain in theaters through December 12th with more locations added daily.”
It opens Dec. 5.
“With such strong presales, we are thrilled that in conjunction with our exhibitor partners, we can add additional days and Canada to our distribution plan so even more fans can see this beloved concert on the big screen,” said Fathom CEO Ray Nutt. “It is beautifully shot and captures the infectious energy and passion that for KING + COUNTRY always bring to the stage, making it a perfect way to welcome the holiday season.”
The announcement also shared that the movie will be shown in Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the UK and Australia.

This isn’t the band’s first foray into film. Earlier this year, they released UNSUNG HERO.
“for KING + COUNTRY recently released ‘UNSUNG HERO: The Inspired By Soundtrack’ simultaneously with their new biopic film, ‘UNSUNG HERO,’ which garnered $20+ million at the box office; and is now available on STARZ. Audiences loved the film and ranked it 2024’s highest-rated Verified Hot movie on Rotten Tomatoes with a 99% audience score on their new Popcornmeter feature,” the press release said.
for KING + COUNTRY also recently revealed on Instagram that the film’s music is now available to stream.
“’Tis the season…. #ADrummerBoyChristmas LIVE (The Album) is now yours for the listening! May it serve as a soundtrack to your holiday season,??” they said in a caption.
Fans expressed their excitement.
“Already listened to it twice! Reliving when I got to see y’all last year at the Christmas concert! ❤️❤️❤️” one person said.
Another user chimed in, “I listened to the album when I woke up this morning and I love it!!???❤️”
