Dave Coulier is officially cancer-free!
“DAVE IS CANCER FREE!!!!” his former FULL HOUSE co-star Candace Cameron Bure posted on Instagram. “Join me in celebrating this AMAZING news — let’s shower him with all the love in the world!”
Earlier this month, Coulier spoke to Parade about the results of a biopsy on one of the lymph nodes in his neck.
“Melissa [his wife] and I waited for a week to get the biopsy results back, and there is no sign of cancer,” he shared. “One of the few times in my life when ‘zero’ has been a great number to hear.”
He was waiting on the results of a CAT scan that would fully determine whether or not his cancer was “in the rear-view mirror.”
“I’ll tell you this,” Coulier concluded. “Today is the first day that I really feel like, ‘Wow, I’m feeling pretty darn good. I feel like myself.’ And it’s today. So I get to celebrate that with you.”
Coulier announced he had been diagnosed with Stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma last year.
In another recent interview with GOOD MORNING AMERICA, Coulier shared “the lowest point on the rollercoaster ride” of his cancer battle.
After his sixth and final chemotherapy treatment, Coulier caught a cold and had to be hospitalized.
“I was in the hospital for four days and they pumped me full with fluids and antibiotics,” he explained. “It was a rhinovirus and because my white blood cell count was so low, it wasn’t able to fight off this common cold virus.”
Coulier added, “My doctors later told me, ‘If you had waited another 48 hours, you would’ve been in a real battle and we might not have been able to turn this around.’”

The FULL HOUSE star shared that he’s been leaning on his loved ones during this time, including his wife and his FULL HOUSE family.
“We’ve been a team,” he said of Melissa. “I think it would’ve been a totally different journey had she not been with me.”
As for his former castmates, Coulier said, “We’re a family.”
“Candace has FaceTimed me a couple times and Lori [Loughlin] has FaceTimed me a couple of times. John [Stamos] FaceTimes me, like, every day,” he said. “We’re very close. I love them all so dearly.”
Coulier also got some more good news recently — he’s officially a grandfather!
“We’re so excited,” he told Parade of his son Luc’s new baby boy, adding that he and his wife plan on making “multiple trips” to California to visit.
Coulier joked, “There’s a lot on my plate. I have a full house.”
From great health news to a new grandbaby, it looks like there’s a lot to celebrate these days in Coulier’s life.
