GAF Star Cameron Mathison Spreads ‘Kindness and Love’ Through His Movies

Great American Family star Cameron Mathison is ready to celebrate uplifting content at the Movieguide® Awards.
“Well, I think there’s a lot of really fun things to celebrate. I think…these awards get to emphasize really family-friendly, positive, inspiring, upbeat content, and I’m all about [that],” he told Movieguide®. “That’s how I lived my life and that’s who I want to be surrounded by.”
Mathison signed a multi-picture deal with GAF last year.
“It is very important to me to create well-crafted, beautiful stories,” he said after announcing his deal with the network. “I am grateful to be back at Great American Media and to collaborate with some of the best creative teams in entertainment to make heartwarming content everyone can enjoy.”
“The movies I do at Great American are very in line with how I like to live. I love to spread positivity and kindness and love and compassion, and, you know, it makes my life meaningful,” he said. “And when we get to weave that into our films, that’s what it’s all about.”
Mathison will be in the Movieguide® Awards Broadcast on GAF on March 7 at 8 p.m. ET.
