Prayer Event Gathers Global Church: Revival Breaks ‘Out All Over the World’

Bestselling author and speaker Jennie Allen is sharing the inspiration behind Gather25, an upcoming gathering of the global church.
“I had this vivid dream a couple years ago that Jesus was coming back in 10 years,” Allen said in an interview with Movieguide®. “I have no idea when Jesus is coming back, but when I woke up from that, I was like, ‘You know what? We need to work together better. We need to come together and mobilize a church.’ And not long after that, I felt like it was from the Lord, like, a calling.”
She continued, “It was the beginning of the Lord just opening doors where the global church could gather for the first time in history.”
Gather25, led by ministries and leaders around the world, aims to gather groups from every denomination for a full day of worship. Currently, there are 14,000 events set to take place for the event.
“We will go live from every continent,” Allen said. “We have teams on the ground…what’s going to happen is, everybody is going to worship together. The global church is going to sing one song together. The global church is going to pray together.”
She added, “It’s the first time it will be possible, [but] it won’t be the last.”

In an interview with ReachFM, Allen said, “This is quite a picture of the global church. We’re going to show stories of what God is doing from every continent and also have speaking, teaching worship and prayer from every continent. It’s going to be an incredible event that I want everyone to see.”
Speaking to Crosswalk, she shared, “Revival is breaking out everywhere, and thousands and thousands of students come every single time. And so many of them come forward and receive Christ. That same thing is happening in Africa, that same thing is happening in Asia, that same thing is happening in London and Germany and Paris. And we’re going to show it is happening all over the world. So you’re going to see revival is breaking out all over the world.”
Gather25 will take place on Saturday, March 1, 2025.
