Chase Chrisley is feeling better than ever after one month of sobriety.

“Almost one month alcohol free, feeling better than I have in years,” the CHRISLEY KNOWS BEST star posted on Instagram. “God is good.”

Chrisley was arrested earlier this year after allegedly getting into an altercation at an Atlanta bar — claims he says are “blown out of proportion,” per the Daily Mail. His publicist also told the outlet that the person he allegedly struck opted not to press charges.

“Chase had done the right thing that evening by calling a driver to take him home. He did not assault anyone,” his lawyer told TMZ. “Chase was trying to close out his tab and leave. We will be independently investigating the situation.”

Chrisley also spoke to the Daily Mail about his parents’ imprisonment.

Todd and Julie Chrisley were found guilty of 12 counts of conspiracy, bank fraud, wire fraud and tax evasion in 2022 and were sentenced to 12 and seven years, respectively.

“Obviously our system is very corrupt and very broken. I know there wasn’t any truth to it, because my dad didn’t have to steal any money,” he said

Chrisley continued, “The government dismantled our entire lives. But my dad didn’t raise us to be weak, they picked the wrong family if they think that we’re not going to fight until we win. Losing is not an option in an aspect of life.”

His sister Savannah has also spoken about the family’s plans to fight back and find justice for their parents. She is currently working to secure a presidential pardon from President Trump.

“I know that I am going through the proper channels to do so, and I’m going to bring as much awareness to it as possible because these things should not happen,” Savannah told PEOPLE.

Speaking about her parents’ trials, she explained, “We thought it was going to end differently. We had lawyers who had told us it was going to end differently.”

“We stood in the truth, and we stood in what we knew to be the truth. We saw the corruption in Fulton County. We saw how the judge handled the case. We just saw all of it and we’re like, ‘There’s no way. There’s no way it’s going to end this way.’ But, it did,” she concluded.

Savannah is currently serving as her younger siblings’ legal guardian, working hard to support them both. She recently launched a podcast, a real estate career and, soon, a direct-to-consumer female pharmacy brand.

“I think that I’ve gone through a lot…in my life. I really have,” she told PEOPLE. “And I’ve gone through a lot of things that I’ve never even publicly spoken about.”

Savannah added, “When you fight silent battles, resilience just comes. When you fight silent battles, there was no one that was there for you. Whether you didn’t allow someone to be there for you, or whether you just didn’t have people there, you just learned to pick yourself up.”

Through all their family’s ups and downs, Chase and Savannah are still working hard to make their parents proud.
