TV Insider reported that Elizabeth (Erin Krakow), Nathan (Kevin McGarry), Little Jack (Hyland Goodrich) and Allie (Jaeda Lily Miller) left Hope Valley after spoiled insulin shots put little Jack’s health in jeopardy.
Local nurse Faith (Andrea Brooks) encourages Elizabeth to take her son to a place where treatment is more accessible.
“Maybe, for now, it’s best for you to be closer to a lab if you can,” she tells Elizabeth. The season ends with the family headed to Cape Fullerton where the insulin lab is located.
“For how long, no one knows, but their journey out of town could mean the return of a notable character in the When Calls the Heart universe,” the outlet hypothesized.
Hearties will have to wait until Season 13 — which currently has no announced release date — to see what’s in store for Elizabeth and her family.
