HGTV’s BATTLE ON THE MOUNTAIN Gets 2024 Premiere Date

HGTV’s competition show BATTLE ON THE MOUNTAIN is set to make its debut in 2024.

The show is “an extension of HGTV‘s popular competition series BATTLE ON THE BEACH,” according to Deadline.

BATTLE ON THE MOUNTAIN will premiere Monday, Jan. 22, at 9 p.m. with a two-hour episode.

The show follows the same premise as BATTLE ON THE BEACH. Three teams will compete to renovate similar mountaintop properties, with the winning team taking home $50,000.

“Set at 13,000 feet above sea level, the six-episode BATTLE ON THE MOUNTAIN features three skilled teams, coached by home experts Rico León (RICO TO THE RESCUE), Kim Myles (DESIGN STAR: NEXT GEN) and Kim Wolfe (WHY THE HECK DID I BUY THIS HOUSE?), who will face off to upgrade similar mountainside homes in Breckenridge, Colorado,” Deadline reported.

“The premiere episode will spotlight kitchen and dining room makeovers that will set the tone for each mountaintop property’s metamorphosis, judged by popular HGTV home renovation couple Chelsea and Cole DeBoer (DOWN HOME FAB),” a statement from the network reads.

Plenty of other HGTV stars will make appearances as well.

PopCulture.com reported that “Egypt Sherrod and Mike Jackson of MARRIED TO REAL ESTATE, Jasmine Roth of HELP! I WRECKED MY HOUSE and Page Turner of FIX MY FLIP, as well as BATTLE ON THE BEACH mentors Taniya Nayak, Ty Pennington and Alison Victoria” will all appear, as well as Cristy Lee of STEAL THIS HOUSE, who will present challenges to the team.

In addition to BATTLE ON THE BEACH, HGTV also has plenty of familiar favorites returning in 2024, including DOWN HOME FAB, MARRIED TO REAL ESTATE and HOME TOWN.

“You’ve waited so patiently…and we are BACK,” Erin Napier announced on Instagram. “The new season of #HGTVHomeTown premieres Sunday, January 7 at 8/7 ct. Watch it live on @hgtv or anytime on @streamonmax.”

For any fans who can’t wait until 2024 for new HOME TOWN episodes, there’s HOME TOWN HOLIDAYS, an upcoming holiday special featuring the Napiers.

Airing December 17, the special will see the couple “revisit past homeowners and grant their Christmas wishes with special handmade items,” per a press release from HGTV.

HOME TOWN has also already received a Season 8 pick-up from HGTV.

“HGTV confirmed a HOME TOWN Season 8 today in a joint Instagram post with the couple — and everyone is excited,” the network posted on their website. “We predict Season 8 will be the best one yet.”
