Hollywood Actor Speaks Boldly About Finding Life in Jesus Christ

Hollywood actor Nate Buzolic, known for his roles in HACKSAW RIDGE, VAMPIRE DIARIES, THE ORIGINALS and more, spoke candidly about the narrow road of holiness and life in Jesus Christ.
“The first name given to Christians found throughout the book of acts was – the people of ‘the way’ the way of holiness was the way that followed the messiah,” Buzolic wrote on Instagram while reflecting on Isaiah 35:8-10. “This way of holiness is narrow for good reason it is not the road that is wide, the road many walk that leads to destruction.”

The actor continued: “If you feel alone as you wander towards our redeeming King don’t be alarmed. The narrow Path is not a path flooded with the worldly, remember few find the gate that leads to life Just as Jesus said.”
Buzolic’s words come society grows increasingly hostile toward Christianity, and recent surveys reveal that America seems to have lost its moral compass.
Rather than bowing to pop culture, though, Buzolic continues to boldly profess his faith and the satisfying life he has in Christ.
Buzolic uses his Instagram account to lead his followers in a virtual devotional time of sorts, posting scriptures and sharing his reflections. His followers often do the same, sharing their responses to the verse, as well as opening up about their own life struggles.
Buzolic previously shared his testimony, saying:
When I went to Atlanta and started working on THE VAMPIRE DIARIES is when I got exposed to the idea of the Gospel, and Jesus,” Buzolic recalled. “I already knew about who Jesus was, I went to a Catholic school, but I never really understood the story, it never really got explained to me in a way that kind of got into the keener parts of my heart.”
“Going to a conference called Passion conference made me ask the question ‘what was my life really all about?’” Buzolic continued. “In a very Ecclesiastes way, it kind of made me look at my career as an actor in everything that I was chasing, it kind of made it feel a bit meaningless and empty, and that there had to be something more, and that’s when I sort of decided to become a Christian. That was a 27. I don’t think I worked out Christianity on any level until I was about 33. So six years of really just going ‘What is this? what does that look like?’”
Buzolic said that his relationship grew exponentially through reading God’s word.
“The more time you spend in your Bible, the more you realize like I can give more, and I can know Him more,” Buzolic said. “It really took me six years to go ‘is Christianity something that I want to do forever?’ And once you realize that Jesus is the greatest gift you can ever have, you’re kind of like, put the earring on, I’m in, I’m lifetime now.”
