How This Faith and Fitness Influencer Lives for God Every Day

By Movieguide® Contributor

Faith and fitness content creator Dominic Fusco just shared a look at a typical day in his life.

“This is a realistic day in the life of a 26 year-old full-time content creator living for God,” he said in a recent Instagram video. “Hi. If you’re new here, my name is Dom, and I’m a faith-driven content creator and coach.”

Fusco continued, “Now, truthfully, no day looks the same. On Tuesdays, I’m part of a mens’ group and Bible study that meets at 6:30. So after some morning prayers, rip some water, morning supplements, and then head out. Before we get into the Word, we hit a three-mile run, and today we went through John 15, which is one of my all-time favorite passages of scripture.”

He shared more clips of his day, from sending emails, doing video calls and working out with friends to making dinner with his girlfriend.

“I am on go-mode all day long, but I do make sure to always slow down a few times a time and give God praise,” Fusco said.

He continued, “Living for God means recognizing your gifts, skills, and experiences are meant to glorify Him and everything you do is an opportunity to point others to Christ through your actions, words and character.”

The content creator shares lots of information about his life and mindset on Instagram, from workout tips and recipes to his personal thoughts on faith and advice for aspiring influencers.

“I didn’t make a dollar on social media or hit 3k followers for 2.5 years,” he wrote in an Instagram post. It doesn’t happen overnight. This applies to anything in life — keep putting in the reps, strive to get 1% better, and be in it for the long game.”

Fusco made headlines in 2023 after going into cardiac arrest following a typical run with friends. He was given CPR before being taken to the hospital and put on a ventilator for over 24 hours.

“It was very blurry when I first came to, but I just remember being so emotional I couldn’t stop crying,” he told PEOPLE, adding that doctors said it was a miracle he didn’t sustain any brain damage.

Fusco had a defibrillator put in his side to avoid anything like this happening again but admitted he’s still shaken by the experience.

“I had cardiac arrest,” he said. “I have no history of heart problems. I like to think of myself as pretty darn healthy. I exercise every freaking day. I’m very particular about what I put into my body and basically I’m trying to optimize my health.”

Fusco shared that he wants his experience to “be a reminder to everybody to prioritize your health — it was a wake-up call for me.”

“This is a part of my story and there’s a reason why it happened,” he concluded. “I get chills when I look back at pictures of me in the ICU — but they remind me to make the most of every day.”
