Influencer, Evangelist Tailah Scroggins Rejected Witchcraft: ‘God Can Free You’
By Movieguide® Contributor
Influencer and former New Ager Tailah Scroggins turned from witchcraft to lead a life that glorifies God.
In an interview with CBN’s Faithwire at the NEFARIOUS premiere, Scroggins said, “Deliverance ministry is the ministry of Jesus, casting out demons. Deliverance was huge in my testimony. God freed me from so much.”
“Jesus picked me up out of all of that and set me free from depression and anxiety,” she explained. “God can free you and He’s what you’ve been searching for. That hole in your heart, a relationship isn’t gonna fill it, drugs isn’t gonna fill it, going to all the false spirituality…Jesus is what you’re searching for.”
While raised in a Christian home, she fell away from faith in college.
“I lived for the world, and no amount of friends, romantic relationships, parties, yoga, or meditation could fill the emptiness I felt,” she told the Nashville Voyager. “At my lowest point, I cried out to Jesus, and he met me in my tiny college apartment, and I rededicated my life to Him then and there.”
She now uses her testimony to share God’s love with others.
On March 1, she asked for prayer as she was going to share the Gospel at an event with about 1,000 young adults.
“Please pray for me,” she wrote before adding, “We are about to preach the Gospel to over a thousand unsaved teenagers in a music venue.”
After the event, she shared an update: “Just under 800 young adults attended the event and MOST of them prayed the salvation prayer! Thank you for praying church!!! Hundreds of teenagers cried out to Jesus for salvation ???❤️ Glory to God!”
Since her transformation, she now uses her social media accounts to share Christ’s love and truth with others.
She told Faithwire, “Millions of people started watching the videos and writing in and saying, ‘I threw my crystals away. I threw my tarot cards away. I’m free from depression,.’ It’s really cool to see what the Lord is doing through online ministry.”
Movieguide® previously reported on Scroggins:
Tailah Scroggins is on a mission to save others from occultism, witchcraft, and other New Age beliefs, all of which she fell victim to as a teen and early adult.
Having grown up in the church, Tailah was first exposed to New Age in high school when a trusted member of her family told her about astrology.
“They had this big… textbook of everything astrology, and they were like, ‘This describes my personality so perfectly – look what is says about you,’” Scroggins explained on Billy Hallowell’s Playing With Fire Podcast. “I was caught off-guard, and I remember… I was like, ‘But how can this be true? If God created all of us and He made our personalities, how can a planet dictate my future or dictate my personality?’”
