Wait a minute — is Candace Cameron Bure actually releasing a Christmas album?
“It’s been a long time coming, and I’m so grateful to everyone who helped make this happen…” the FULLER HOUSE actress posted on Instagram. “My very first Christmas album, A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS, arrives this winter! I can’t wait for you to hear it!!”
The album’s track list includes titles like “Christmas Magic? You Got It, Dude,” “You’re In Big Trouble, Mr. Grinch,” “A Full House & Fuller Bellies” and “Oh Please, Not Another Holiday Party.”
The song titles clued some fans into the truth, though, and Bure confirmed it a few hours later.
“UPDATE: #AprilFools!” she wrote. “No new music, but I do have a new children’s book OUT TODAY called, The Crazy Compromise, and a Christmas movie on the way.”
Speaking to The Christian Post about her new book, Bure said, “I love children’s books so much. To do a collaboration book with Generous Family is just so meaningful because I absolutely love writing them.”
“As a mom, reading with my kids was always one of my favorite things to do,” she continued. “It’s such a fun way to be animated, to engage, and to have conversations about deeper messages.”
In The Crazy Compromise, Bure teaches kids the importance of respecting others’ opinions, even when they’re different from your own.

“There’s a line at the end of the book that says, ‘So what about you? Do your friends disagree with the way that you think or the way that you see? Can you meet in the middle and find common ground? When your hearts beat the same, that’s where love can be found,’” Bure said. “And I thought, ‘Wow, this is written for kids, but it’s just as relevant for adults.’”
She continued, “People are so divided today, particularly with politics and even within faith circles. We feel like we need to ‘win’ every argument, whether it’s on Facebook, Instagram, or at the dinner table. But do we really? This book reminds us that we don’t have to let disagreements destroy relationships. There are so many other things that connect us.”
There’s no word yet on Bure’s upcoming Christmas projects, but in a December interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the actress gave some insight into how she chooses her holiday movies.
“I read so many Christmas scripts all year long. I’m looking for something that feels fresh to me and will resonate with the audience,” Bure explained. “Especially for Great American Family channel — where we lean into faith in our movies, and our tagline for the channel is, ‘Christmas as it’s meant to be’ — I’m looking for things that really touch the heart and have more purpose to them than just the magic of Christmas or the Santa Claus of Christmas.”
She continued, “As I read scripts, I usually can tell within the first 15 to 20 pages if it’s something that’s going to grab me or if it’s a story I’ve heard a hundred times over.”
“I’ll probably shoot another four to five movies in 2025,” Bure added. “It’s what I love doing.”
So, no Christmas music from Bure, but don’t worry — the actress still has plenty of projects in the pipeline.
