Is This Iconic SUITS Star Returning for Spinoff?

Harvey Specter is back in his suit and tie.
Gabriel Macht, the actor who played Specter in SUITS, shared a video on his Instagram of him lacing up his wing-tip shoes that say “Harvey” inside them as the SUITS theme song, “Greenback Boogie” by Ima Robot, played.
“When an old friend is in need…it’s time to take care of things and make those very ‘things’ right,” he wrote for the caption.
Fans commented on the post with excitement.
“MY HEART IS LITERALLY RACING RN WHAT DOES THIS MEAN,” one person wrote.
Another said, “SCREAMING IN MY ROOM RN, welcome back, HARVEY REGINALD SPECTER.”
As it turns out, Harvey Specter will return in the SUITS spinoff, SUITS L.A.

Per Deadline, “The star of the hit legal drama will appear on the upcoming NBC spinoff, SUITS L.A. Gabriel Macht, who played the brash and suave super lawyer Harvey Specter on the original series, will reprise his role on the offshoot in a three-episode arc.”
“Macht’s stint is a guest arc and is not a precursor to him potentially joining SUITS L.A full-time,” the outlet continued. “Landing him for the spinoff is a big get as it marks Macht’s first return to the screen since SUITS. After his nine-season run on the USA series ended in 2019, he took a break from acting as he moved with his family to the UK.”
SUITS ended with Harvey Specter and his wife, Donna, leaving the corporate law scene to move to Seattle and work with Mike Ross.
“SUITS: L.A. will chronicle former prosecutor Ted Black (Stephen Amell) as he has a crisis of professional faith while working as a defense attorney for powerful clients in LA’s entertainment industry,” Screen Rant wrote.
