Jeremy Renner Reveals Treatments He’s Using to Recover After Accident

Actor Jeremy Renner is continuing to heal after a near-fatal snow plow accident in January left him in the hospital for weeks.
Now, Renner is in remission and shared a new treatment he’s using to make a full recovery.
The AVENGERS star recently shared on his Instagram story a selfie of him sitting in a hyperbaric chamber.
Fox News Digital reported that Renner wrote, “Hyperbaric chamber, 2 atmosphere pressure, high oxygen, 2x daily.”
The University Hospitals Science of Health reports that the benefits of the hyperbaric chamber include:
- Increasing blood flow
- Decreasing inflammation and swelling
- Weakening infection-causing bacteria
- Increasing the body’s ability to fight free radicals (unstable molecules that can build up in cells and cause damage)
- Stimulating the growth of new blood vessels
“Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is a phenomenal adjunctive therapy for wound management. It is extremely helpful in the most complicated and severe cases and helps us to save legs and lives,” Jacqueline Donovan, DPM, shared.
Renner also posted a video of him running on an assisted treadmill on his X page. He wrote, “First attempt…Weight assisted jog on the @BoostTreadmills. The most difficult step is the first one…#loveandtitanium.”

The actor shared another photo on his Instagram story lying poolside. Renner expressed above the photo, “Vitamin D Supplements.”

Five months following his accident, Jeremy Renner decided it was time to go back to the place where it all happened and spend the holiday weekend on the lake.
Renner shared a video on his Instagram that showed him driving down a winding road which overlooked Lake Tahoe. Renner implied that the visit was with his family.
He captioned the video, “Lake Tahoe / Home #family #lakeday”
The actor also posted two pictures on his Instagram story. One picture showed two jet skis ready to be on the water and the other photo showed Renner a float a paddle board with his daughter, Ava.

Actor Jeremy Renner was rushed to the hospital and is in critical condition after a snow plow accident, Deadline first reported.
The AVENGERS actor, 51, reportedly suffered injuries “after experiencing a weather-related accident while plowing snow earlier today.”
“His family is with him and he is receiving excellent care,” one representative said.
Renner is best known as Hawkeye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Despite his successful career in Hollywood, Renner also takes pride in being the father of his 9-year-old daughter, Ava Berlin.
