Jim Caviezel Says Doing This Makes Evil ‘Powerless’

Jim Caviezel recently delivered a powerful message about the power of good over evil.
“We cannot abide our security of one nation under God, our freedoms in Christ, our Savior, from the threat of the devil any longer by committing an act of immorality so great as saying to millions of millions of little children now caught behind the iron curtain of sex trafficking, ‘Give up your dreams of freedom now, because in order to save our own skins, we’re just too willing to make a deal with your slave masters,’” he said during an appearance on TBN’s PRAISE.
Caviezel has previously spoken out against sex trafficking and starred in 2023’s Teddy Bear Award® winner SOUND OF FREEDOM, which told the true story of Tim Ballard, a former U.S. government agent who makes it his mission to rescue children from human traffickers.
“This is just appalling,” the actor told Fox News of the human trafficking industry. “The moral depravity is such now that people are willing to live with this. That’s why we did the film.”

Caviezel continued, “Alexander Hamilton said, ‘That any nation which can prefer disgrace to danger is prepared for a master who deserves one’…evil is powerless if the good are unafraid. This is in the Gospels, you read it.”
“You know, we’re all playing a character in scripture right now,” he concluded. “It’s not just a history book, it is actually something. When you read it, you feel it burning in your hearts. That fire comes on.”
Caviezel is currently preparing to reprise one of his biggest roles, Jesus, in a sequel to Mel Gibson’s THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST.
Collider reported that the sequel’s script has “undergone extensive revisions over the years,” as Gibson and co-writer Randall Wallace have been working on it through a reported six drafts.
“Wallace confirmed in April that the screenplay had finally been completed,” the outlet continued. “Details about the direction of the sequel remain under wraps, but it has been hinted that the film will take on a more spiritual and metaphysical approach compared to the original.”
