Joanna Gaines to Premiere New Show MINI-RENI

By Movieguide® Contributor

Joanna Gaines and her husband, Chip have been the heart of home renovations, and now Joanna announced her new show, MINI-RENI.

Joanna shared on her Instagram, “Earlier this year I did a quick renovation project for a friend, and we called it Mini Reni. It was fast and furious—three rooms in one week—with a ton of simple and affordable ways to transform an outdated space,”

She added, “It was so fun that we decided to do it again, only this time we made a show of it! #MiniReni airs Sunday, June 25 at 9/8c on #MagnoliaNetwork. Stay tuned for more details and how-to’s coming next month!”

The Mini Reni she completed took place in February, and the project required no major construction. Instead, Joanna simply used paint, wallpaper, and a few of her own accessories to make the renovation.

Joanna shared in an Instagram video the renovations she made.

She wrote, “I recently helped a couple with a simple home refresh. We had a tight construction budget and less than a week to complete. I love flips like this—approachable, fast, and minimal work but still high impact. We lovingly referred to this project as a #MiniReni and I can’t wait to share more with you! Head to the blog to see all the before + afters and to find tips for how you can transform your own space-no demo day required!”

Movieguide® recently reported on Chip and Joanna Gaines marriage and the support they’ve given to one another:

In an issue in their Magnolia Journal, Chip reminisced on their time together so far.

“All the old folks in our lives warned us that these years with young kids and big dreams would go by fast. That one day we’d look back and wonder where the time went. They were right,” Chip wrote.

“We’ve had to fight like hell for our family and learn to hold loosely what we can’t control. But we did all that together. The two of us,” he continued.

Through the 20 years the carpenter felt much change occur in the couple’s lives.

“In those 20 years, our world changed. But the one thing that didn’t was the promise Jo and I made to one another at the altar in front of our family and friends,” he wrote. “They asked if we’d stick it out through thick and thin. We said yes, and we meant it. We still do.”

He added, “Marriage is interesting that way. Whatever I go through, Jo goes through. And whatever she goes through, I go through. Life has done us plenty of favors and showed us things we’ve been beyond blessed to see. We’ve also had some hard times—some the world knows about, and plenty it doesn’t. Like anyone else, we’ve been sick and sad and hurt and lost and flat out of ideas on how to turn things around.”
