Justin Bieber ‘Always Wanted to Be a Dad,’ Mom Says

Justin Bieber and wife Hailey Baldwin Bieber recently announced that they’re expecting their first child, and the singer’s mom, Pattie Mallete, knows that he will be the “best daddy ever.”
The mother of the pop superstar took to Instagram to post a sweet message for her son on Father’s Day. Along with several photos of Bieber and his pregnant wife Hailey, Mallete wrote, “Happy Father’s Day Justin. You’ve always wanted to be a dad ever since I can remember. You have so much love to give. You’re gonna be the best daddy ever. You already are. LOVE YOU!! ?”
Fans responded with excitement for the dad-to-be.
“He is gonna be the best daddy in the world ❤️ baby Bieber is already sooo loved! ?” one user commented.
Another person responded “happy first father’s day justin! we are so excited to see the beautiful family you will build with hailey. we love you! may God always be with you! ?”
In May, the Biebers first shared the news on Hailey’s Instagram in a photo carousel of the couple’s vow renewal. The photos reveal Hailey’s baby bump in a beautiful lace gown.

He posted a photo from the Biebers’ original announcement post along with 1 John 4:16, which reads, “God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.”
Baldwin wrote in the caption, “Love you guys ❤️ blessed beyond words?? praise God ??let’s get ready to have some fun y’all ?”
An anonymous source previously told PEOPLE about Justin and Hailey’s excitement to be parents.
“Everyone is excited for them,” the source said. “They will be great parents, and Justin will be super involved. This will be the next important project for him. He’s so excited to raise his baby. They have a name that they think is perfect. They’re also starting to decorate a nursery. They can’t wait to meet the baby.”
