Justin Bieber Shares Gospel Message on Christmas Day

By Movieguide® Staff

Justin Bieber shared the Gospel with his 211 million followers on Instagram this Christmas season, encouraging fans to think about Christ’s birth, “his death, burial, and resurrection.”

“My Christmas wish is for whoever is reading this to stop and let God love you,” Bieber wrote in an Instagram post. “Allow him to remind you of who you are this Christmas.”

“Today, we celebrate the birth of Jesus. We celebrate his life but let’s also celebrate his death, burial, and resurrection,” Bieber said. “He not only lived a sacrificial life but died a sacrificial death, then he rose from the dead, defeating death once and for all so that you and I can truly live for eternity.”

Movieguide® previously reported on how Bieber roots his purpose in God:

The young artist’s faith is active and continues to grow.

“I just kept trusting what He said and what He’s saying to me,” Bieber explains. “And I just believe He speaks to me. It’s not audible. I don’t hear His audible voice. I don’t know if people do. I know people have said it, and in the Bible, it talks about that, but I just never heard it. It’s more like nudges: Don’t do this. Or: Set these boundaries.”

He added: “It’s just rewarding to be all that you were designed to be. And I believe that, at this point in my life, I’m right where I’m supposed to be, doing what I believe that God wants me to do. And there’s nothing more fulfilling.”
