Pop Star Urges Fans to Turn to Jesus: ‘God Always Grants Us Love’

Two-time Grammy Award winner Justin Bieber shared an encouraging message about growing up and turning to Jesus with his Instagram followers last week.
“It’s time to grow up. Changing is about letting go!” Bieber wrote on his Instagram Story.
“Not trying harder! Are you tired of trying to follow all of the rules in hopes to get the results you crave? I’ve found love to be more powerful than rules. I tried to follow the rules. I’m not good at it,” he added.
The lyrics to the song “Free Fallin'” played in the background: “She’s a good girl, loves her mama/ Loves Jesus and America too”
Bieber continued, “But you don’t need to follow rules to enter into a life of love. You just receive so enter love living! God always grants us love! It’s one of his promises! Upon receiving God’s love! You start to change and start following love. You don’t work to mature! You let go to mature! Today, I’m letting go and remembering the weight isn’t on me to change. The weight is on God. So I give all my insecurities and my fears to him this morning. Because I know he gladly takes it. Asking Jesus to genuinely help me with simply the next step today.”

The pop star often speaks about his faith in God. He even once led worship on stage at his church.
“Sang at church last night. God is pulling me through a hard season. Having trust in Jesus at your worst times is the absolute hardest,” he wrote on Instagram 2019. “But he is faithful to complete what he started. I also want to thank my wife for being such a huge support in my life through this season.. it says in the bible count it ALL JOY when you face trials of various kinds.”
“Sounds insane considering when u face trials you feel terrible,” the artist continued. “But if we are grateful and worship god for what we do have in that season there is so much power in that… whatever pain you are going through just keep telling yourself THIS WONT LAST!”
Earlier this month, Bieber shared a prayer that encouraged his fans to trust God.
“You’re the architect. You’re the artist. You’re the composer,” he prayed on Instagram. “You’re the king. You’re the shepherd. You’re dad. You’re a friend. You’re available. You’re consistent. You’re a healer. You’re a provider. You never stop rushing towards your children in adoration and affection. It’s who you are through and through.”
“You’re a comforter. You’re a lover, and you never stop loving. And so today, I’m gonna receive this beautiful love that you keep, you just keep giving over and over and over again,” he concluded.
