Popular streaming influencer Kai Cenat uses his platform to give thanks to God.
He recently live streamed himself praying publicly in front of the famous Christ the Redeemer statue in Brazil.
“Thank you, Lord, for everything you’ve done for me. Thank you so much for me coming here and having this experience with my friends, being able to enjoy this with the people in my chat, being able to really take this in,” he prayed on the stream.
He continued, “Thank you for being so peaceful, so kind to me, and I hope that this year is just an amazing year and a lot of things to come in the future. In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.”
Cenat also took to Instagram to share his experience in Brazil, including a photo of himself with the famous statue.
He captioned it “Graças a deus por tudooo🇧🇷,” which means “Thank God for everything.”

The iconic statue of Jesus on top of Corcovado Mountain in Rio De Janeiro is widely recognized, but some may not know the beautiful, faith-filled story behind in.
In 1888, the emperor of Brazil went away and left his daughter, Princess Isabel, in charge. While he was gone, the princess abolished slavery in the country. The people were so thankful that they wanted to build a statue honoring her, but the princess, who was a Christian, did not want to be given the glory and demanded that if a statue was built, it should give glory to God. This desire resulted in the 98-foot-tall statue of Jesus that towers 2,800 feet above the city. Today, nearly 2 million people, including Cenat, visit the monument each year, according to ABC 6.
Cenat, a New York City native, became famous first through YouTube. As his popularity grew, he moved to Twitch, a live streaming platform, in 2021. Currently he has around 15 million subscribers, and according to Relevent Magazine, he’s “the most subscribed streamer in the world across all platforms.”
He’s opened up about his faith and thoughts on heaven before.
“When you die, nothing happens. Then you wake up — Judgment Day, bro. Everybody’s gonna be with the higher power, and then it’s gonna determine where you going, my boy. That’s Jesus Christ, indeed… Jesus already put the rules out flat for you in the Bible. You already know what you gotta do — just do it,” Cenat said in an interview, per Relevent Magazine.
