Kanye West Says Black Americans Are ‘Brainwashed’ Into Having Abortions
By Jessilyn Lancaster, Managing Editor
Kanye West rebuked abortion in a recent interview, calling out Democrats for violating the sixth commandment, which forbids killing.
“We’re [black Americans] brainwashed out here, bro. Come on, man. This is a free man talking. Democrats had us voting [for] Democrats with food stamps for years,” West said.
“What are you talking about? Guns in the ’80s, taking the fathers out the home, Plan B, lowering our votes, making us abort our children … Thou shall not kill,” he continued.
Pro-life groups praised West’s newfound anti-abortion stance.

West made the comments in an interview following the release of his new album, “Jesus Is King.”
Songs on the album include “God Is,” “Selah,” “Closed on Sunday,” “Follow God,” and other worshipful and reflective tunes.
“Jesus Is King” debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s 200 chart.
The album reflects West’s personal and genuine conversion, and his subsequent comments reveal the rapper really has had a change of heart since his profanity-ridden days.
