Katy Nichole Drops New Single ‘My God Can,’ Featuring Naomi Raine

Singer Katy Nichole just released a new single called “My God Can,” featuring five-time Grammy award winner Naomi Raine.
“This song is so special because I got to write it with some of my closest friends @joshhavens@jordanmohilowski @ethanhulse AND I got to collaborate with the beautiful and talented Naomi Raine, which was such an honor,” she wrote on Instagram. “I am so excited for you guys to hear it and I hope this song gives you the confidence to trust fully in God as you walk into 2024! – Let this be YOUR anthem, ‘I’m standing in the confidence that even though I can’t, MY GOD CAN!'”
“It’s based on the verse Philippians 4:13: ‘I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,'” she explained. “I want to remind you today that even when you don’t feel strong, God is strong. His strength never fails. There is nothing impossible with God. He will go before you, and He will exceed every expectation that you’ve ever had. I want to remind you today that even when you can’t do something, God can. And that is something that I have confidence in. This is my anthem for you. Even when I can’t, my God can.”
Nichole recently appeared on Fox & Friends, where she discussed how God orchestrated her music career.
“I was about eighteen years old when I started leading worship and felt something different about the way that I was singing and singing for the glory of God was such a special thing to me, and somehow it turned into where I am now,” she explained on the show.
The singer also wrapped up her “This is Jesus” Christmas tour with Tauren Wells and Jordan Smith.
During one of the concerts, Nichole encouraged fans to faithfully pursue Jesus.
“Whatever it is that you’re going through right now, I want to remind you that Jesus is at the center of your story,” she said. “You know, God is still good, even when your circumstances are not good. And that right there is the hope of Christmas. That right there is what we need to remember–that there is a God who cares for us, and He would send his one and only Son to this earth. He would die on a cross to save our sins. And that really inspires me every single day to keep going. Because if He would do that for me, then I surely still have a purpose here on this earth. And He’s going to do something beautiful in your life.”

“I mean it when I say Jesus changed my life. I’ve had two back surgeries, and the first one didn’t do exactly what it was supposed to do, but the second one was where the miracle happened. I was very depressed after the first, so depressed that I hit a place where I wanted to end my life. Thankfully, I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Hold on, I’m not done yet.’ And I believed that voice. If I hadn’t believed that voice, I would not be standing here right now,” Nichole said with conviction.
Nichole previously elaborated on her near-death experience. She had taken a bottle of pills in her hand, intending to overdose, but the bottle dropped when she heard God’s voice.
“I just felt the Lord say, ‘I’m not done yet,’” she said.
