Katy Nichole Reminds Fans ‘Jesus Is At The Center Of Your Story’

Christian musician Katy Nichole reminds us to focus on God’s love this Christmas season.
“Whatever it is that you’re going through right now, I want to remind you that Jesus is at the center of your story,” she said in an Instagram video. “You know, God is still good, even when our circumstances are not good. And that right there is the hope of Christmas. That right there is.”
Nichole continued, “What we need to remember is that there is a God who cares for us, and He would send His one and only son to this earth. He would die on a cross to save our sins. And that really inspires me every single day to keep going. Because if He would do that for me, then I surely still have a purpose here on this earth. And He’s going to do something beautiful in our life. I believe that.”
The singer is currently on the “This Is Jesus” tour alongside Tauren Wells and Jordan Smith.
“THIS is the kind of beauty and power and majesty that emerges when we unite to praise the Savior of the world,” Nichole wrote in a joint post with the “This Is Jesus” account. “Come worship with us. Come sing with us! There’s room for everyone in this beautiful movement.”
Nichole also recently marked her first performance on FOX & FRIENDS.
“I mean it when I say, Jesus changed my life,” she said while appearing on the show. “I’ve had two back surgeries and the first one didn’t do exactly what it was supposed to do, but the second one was where the miracle happened. I was very depressed after the first, so depressed that I hit a place where I wanted to end my life. Thankfully, I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Hold on, I’m not done yet.’ And I believed that voice. If I hadn’t believed that voice, I would not be standing here right now.”
Movieguide® previously reported on Nichole’s faith:
Nichole’s strong faith is part of every song she makes and has led to millions of streams and music awards.
She holds the record for the most weeks at No. 1 for a debut single by a female artist on both Billboard’s Hot Christian Songs (20 weeks) and Christian Airplay charts with hit single “In Jesus Name.”
“I’m just grateful to be a vessel that carries these words,” Nichole told Billboard. “I felt like my story is pretty messy and broken, but I knew God’s handprints are all over my life.”
In another interview, she shared how “grateful” she is to create music that can uplift others and give them hope.
“This is my heart. This is the expression of my relationship with God,” she said.
