‘Gratitude is Our Superpower’: Kel Mitchell Encourages Followers to Thank God for Mercy

Actor Kel Mitchell popped on Instagram to give fans a “friendly reminder” to be grateful.
“Every day, discover something new to be thankful for,” he told followers in a video on Sunday. “That’s when we fully dive into gratitude; let’s remember that our source is the goodness of the Lord, and his mercy is an everlasting stream that flows within us.”
Mitchell hints that gratitude can transform us into something extraordinary. He captioned the video, “Gratitude is our superpower! Thank the Lord daily for his mercy and grace!!”
The actor frequently posts uplifting and encouraging faith-based messages for his followers. He recently gave followers a reminder that they are beautifully and wonderfully made with a purpose. Many of his followers thanked him for the thoughtful message, including some celebrities such as actress Barbara Lizzet Sanchez, who said, “Thank you for this Kel 🙏🙏.”
Mitchell recently had fans concerned when he had a health scare. Movieguide® reported on the incident:
Mitchell explained, “I was out shopping when suddenly the whole room started spinning. So I was like, ‘I must be dehydrated so I need to go get some water, some food.’ When I did that, the whole right side of my arm was numb, followed by me not being able to swallow. That’s when I panicked. And so I drove myself to the hospital.”
After a CT scan, Mitchell was told that he had “a bulging disc” that was affecting his motor skills.
The actor recently shared that he is “good” now and thanked fans for their prayers.
The Hollywood Reporter wrote, “A day after the incident, Mitchell took to Instagram to share a message, thanking fans for their support, saying, ‘The scare was real, but so was the support.’ Though he didn’t share many details about the medical-related incident at the time, the actor said he was ‘on the road to recovery at home, embraced by the love of my family,’ all thanks to the ‘grace of God and the skill of a medical team.’”
