Lauren Daigle’s recent travels have shown her that “miracles still exist.”
“3 continents within 27 hours. 3 countries 3 continents 4 cities within one week. I’ve seen more things in this one week with these two simple eyes than I’ve seen in the past year,” the singer wrote in an Instagram post.
She continued, “I’ve seen beauty in chaos, joy in depravity, peace in the storm in the tangible, real life in your face kinda way — not just a cliché. I’ve seen that God is real. I’ve seen that miracles still exist.”
Daigle shared facts she learned on her travels, from the uniqueness of zebra’s stripes to the way giraffes fight to the joys the simplest things can bring to people.
“Did you know that kids can smile in the midst of difficulty, making joy their song on a hard day? Did you know that clean water from a well is a miracle when there is no salt? Did you know that God heals people with praying and fasting?” Daigle wrote. “I’ve HEARD these things, but to KNOW is different.”
The singer challenged her followers to find their own answers to these questions and bring themselves “to places where God becomes real.”
“They are often the places of incredible desperation. You find that while the circumstances are seemingly grim, the spirit is not,” she explained. “These places hold joy bearers — people unwavering in the fullness of joy. Joy is not determined by the surroundings. It’s a deep water well at the depths of the human soul & Jesus is the water.”
Daigle often speaks about her strong faith, telling PEOPLE in a 2023 interview, “I’ll take the stigma [of being a Christian artist] if I get to show people hope and kindness and a different representation of God than maybe we’ve seen in the past.”
She also talked about how she hopes to bridge the gap between people who might think differently than her.
“We’ve found a society where people only stick with people who believe the same thing they do. Because of that, everybody’s divided,” Daigle explained. “I actually don’t mind sitting next to people who disagree with me. So many people are like, ‘I believe this, and I believe this, and I believe this,’ and I’m like, ‘Awesome. This does not mean we can’t be friends.'”

Daigle has recently been touring Africa, playing shows in Johannesburg and Cape Town.
“Just played my first show ever in Africa!!!!!!!!! Love you so much, Cape Town! Hope to be back again someday. Beautiful place, beautiful people!” the singer posted on Instagram.
At a recent show, Daigle worked with Make-A-Wish to make a young girl named Rylie’s dream of meeting her come true.
“I can truly say that meeting Rylie was one of the most inspiring, joy-filling, attitude-checking, perspective-shifting, heart-warming, life-giving, permanent-marker-writing-truth-on-my-heart moments I have ever had in my career and in my life,” Daigle wrote on Instagram of the experience.
She added that their meeting reminded her of “the grandeur of the most powerful, infinite God encapsulated and on display through the tenderness and bravery of this little child.”
“Sometimes, you can’t really put your finger on it, but God will show you a picture so unique and breathtaking in design through a human,” Daigle continued. “I feel as though He did that to me through Rylie. I am truly honored to have met such a beautiful young girl, braver than most grown women! I love you, Rylie! I look forward to the next time we meet!”
Daigle’s constant affirmations of her faith and strong compassion for others are excellent reminders that miracles are all around us.
