Country music artist Lee Greenwood is releasing a vinyl version of his album, “American Patriot,” in light of Independence Day.

“ACM, CMA, and GRAMMY award-winning country music legend Lee Greenwood is celebrating the 40th anniversary of his timeless patriotic anthem ‘God Bless The U.S.A.’ with the first-ever vinyl release of his iconic album, ‘American Patriot,’” a recent press release said. “The record, which comprises his most popular patriotic songs in a single LP collection, will be pressed on red, white, and blue ‘fireworks’ splatter vinyl and is available now for purchase.”

“The remastered American Patriot album, initially released in 1992, features Greenwood’s fan favorites and hits, like ‘Dixie,’ ‘The Great Defenders,’ and his timeless anthem, ‘God Bless The U.S.A.’ It also includes spectacular renditions of American standards, including ‘The Pledge of Allegiance,’ ‘America,’ ‘This Land Is Your Land,’ ‘The Battle Hymn Of The Republic,’ ‘God Bless America,’ ‘America The Beautiful,’ and our Nation’s Anthem, ‘The Star Spangled Banner,’” the release said.

This week, the singer-songwriter legend will perform in Oregon, Texas and Louisiana and will appear on several national news stations. The LEE GREENWOOD: GOD BLESS THE U.S.A special just aired on Newsmax last Sunday and will air again on the 4th at 3 p.m. EDT/2 p.m. CDT.

Greenwood will appear on SiriusXM, The Monica Crawley Podcast, The American Pastors Network, InterMountain Christian News and Deseret News this week.

“I’m honored to have such a fantastic relationship with Universal Music and am truly grateful for their efforts to release my anthemic patriotic album on vinyl in time for the 4th of July,” Greenwood said. “It’s beautiful and is an impressive display of the creative products that our fans can enjoy!”

Movieguide® reported in May:

Country legend Lee Greenwood, best known for his patriotic hit “God Bless The U.S.A.,” is releasing a special vinyl in honor of the song’s 40th anniversary.

“CMA, and GRAMMY award-winning country music legend Lee Greenwood is celebrating the 40th anniversary of his timeless patriotic anthem ‘God Bless The U.S.A.’ with the first-ever vinyl release of his iconic album, ‘American Patriot,’” a press release announced. “The record, which comprises his most popular patriotic songs in a single LP collection, will be pressed on red, white, and blue ‘fireworks’ splatter vinyl and is available for pre-order in time for July 4th.”

This year, Black Cat Fireworks partnered with Greenwood on its “Salute to Service” Firework “cake.”

The press release notes it’s “a spectacular creation which features 170-shots (500 gram) and is available at fireworks retailers across the country. The firework was created to honor the servicemen and women who defend our freedom every day! This stunning display features five beautiful colors and will be sure to light up the night skies from coast-to-coast during the holiday.”

Greenwood said about the fireworks, “It’s a heartfelt salute to the brave men and women who save our country.”

As a passionate patriot who knows the price veterans pay for our country, Greenwood tries to help them back by providing them with houses to live in.

In May, AN ALL STAR SALUTE TO LEE GREENWOOD was released. In the film, celebrities and singers give thoughtful messages and perform some of Greenwood’s songs. It also shows Greenwood presenting two veterans with a home, in partnership with Helping a Hero.

“We’ve taken initiative over the past 15 years to build homes for wounded warriors. We’ve built over 220 homes, by the way, in 15 years,” he previously told FOX News. “And so with this new DVD coming out, it’s an initial project of mine to get [more] homes built for veterans.”
