‘Babies Are Miracles’: LOVE IS BLIND’s Bliss and Zack Goytowski Expecting First Child

LOVE IS BLIND stars Bliss Poureetezadi-Goytowski and Zack Goytowski are having a baby!
“It’s a little bit nerve-wracking, but I think it’s also such a beautiful thing,” Bliss told PEOPLE. “Babies are miracles and blessings, and I think we’ve been so open to sharing our journey and our relationship with the world, and this is our next big beautiful thing. I’m really happy, and I hope that it brings joy to other people. It’s definitely brought us a ton of joy.”
She shared that she is feeling “grateful that my body is able to grow a baby” and praised Zack for being “very, very, very sweet and very loving,” adding, “It’s been wonderful to go through this together and to really have his support.”
Zack shared his hopes for their future child as well.
“I think what I really hope most for our child is just that they live a happy life and they bring happiness and joy into the world,” he said. “No matter what we do as parents, we’re never going to do everything right. I’m going to make tons of mistakes … but I think the only thing that really matters is that I make our child know that I love them and that I believe that they can do whatever they set their mind to.”
The couple recently celebrated their one-and-a-half-year anniversary.
“To celebrate our love, we had a private vow renewal at the exact spot where we first said ‘I do.’ These vows carried more weight to me than the awe-inspiring mountain range we held hands beneath. The weight of our journey, the trials we’ve conquered, and the love that’s grown stronger,” Zack wrote on Instagram.
In another anniversary post, Bliss wrote, “You are the absolute best person I know. The way you always see the good in everyone, the grace you give, your passion for knowledge, it inspires me everyday. I am in awe of you, still. I love our story, exactly as it happened. You are everything. Happy 1st anniversary my beautiful man!”

Zack Goytowski wrapped up his time on season 4 of Netflix’s LOVE IS BLIND and had time to reflect and share a piece of his testimony.
“My senior year in high school, I was filled with anger and rage. My mother’s mental illness and addiction were out of control,” Goytowski opened.
He moved constantly as a teenager and was never able to make lasting friendships.
“There was no stability. Every time I made a friend, I’d have to move on and say goodbye,” he wrote.
Goytowski went to youth group when he was in high school, that is where he learned about Jesus for the first time. He learned, “about a man who sacrificed everything so that others could be forgiven.”
“When I saw her, her face was gaunt. She looked like she hadn’t eaten or slept in weeks. I sat down with my mother that day. I hugged her, and I told her I forgave her for everything. She had still not forgiven herself. She was living at the time in a storage unit, using a space heater at night to keep warm,” Goytowski wrote. “She was at rock bottom, and she didn’t want me to know. I prayed with her that day. I prayed that she would overcome her addiction. I prayed she would be able to overcome her mental illness. And I told her how much I loved her. And it was after that day that everything changed.”
Miraculously, his mother changed her life. She never did drugs again, she got her medications stabilized, and she spent the rest of her life serving those who are mentally and physically disabled.
