Magnolia Network Reveals October Lineup

By Movieguide® Contributor

Chip and Joanna Gaines’ Magnolia Network has revealed its October schedule, from new seasons of popular shows like RANCH TO TABLE and MAINE CABIN MASTERS to premieres of BUILDING OUTSIDE THE LINES and DESIGN GOALS.

Season 4 of RANCH TO TABLE and Season 2 of IN THE KITCHEN WITH ABNER AND AMANDA will premiere on the Magnolia Network, Max and Discovery+ on October 1.

RANCH TO TABLE star Elizabeth Poett recently spoke about another exciting project she recently launched: her new cookbook, “The Ranch Table.”

“I really love the idea of those cookbooks that are just used and loved in your kitchen and that have a little bit of chocolate in it and flour…those are always my favorite,” she shared. “And my hope for this book is that it will be one of those cherished cookbooks in your home.”

MAKEOVER BY MONDAY will return to viewers’ screens on October 7, while new seasons of FIRST TIME FIXER and BEACH COTTAGE CHRONICLES will premiere October 20.

October 23 will see MAINE CABIN MASTERS return for its ninth season, with Season 4 of RESTORATION ROAD WITH CLINT HARP premiering the following day.

The stars of MAINE CABIN MASTERS—contractor Chase Morrill, his sister and decorator Ashley, her husband, Ryan Eldridge, and their childhood friends Matt “Dixie” Dix and Jared “Jedi” Baker—told PEOPLE about the positive impact their show’s success has had on their local community.

“For a long time, young people were leaving Maine, graduating high school and couldn’t wait to pick a college out of state. But now people are starting to stay and making good lives here,” Eldridge explained. “New restaurants are opening up, the local theater was redone. It really is changing a lot, and I’m proud to say we have had something to do with it.”

Morrill called it “a realization of what people have,” adding, “They’re getting back to roots, back to family, back to nature. I think that’s part of why we’ve been so successful, because everybody longs for that.”

BARGAIN MANSIONS’ fifth season will hit the network and streaming platform partners on October 25, while DIARY OF AN OLD HOME will return on the 27th.

In addition to the returning shows, the Magnolia Network will also debut two new shows.

“BUILDING OUTSIDE THE LINES is an eight-episode, hour-long series that follows out-of-the-box designer and builder Jared ‘Cappie’ Capp and his daughter, Alex, as they transform ordinary, pre-existing structures into one-of-a-kind fantasy retreats,” Deadline reported

The outlet also summarized DESIGN GOALS, writing, “Brittany Baker and Annie Hawkins (Magnolia Network’s Home Team with Britt and Annie)…combine clever design, DIY, and thrifty finds to help clients bring their design vision to life. Both series premiere dates will be announced at a later date.”

Movieguide® previously reported on Magnolia’s success:

Chip and Joanna Gaines are sharing their thoughts on the unbelievable success of their Magnolia Network and countless other business ventures.

The couple rose to fame on HGTV with their ultra-popular FIXER UPPER. Nine years later, they have translated that popularity into their own network, a shopping center, restaurants, a merchandising partnership with Target, and a magazine.

“I think what’s been cool about us — and what I’m proud of — goes back to that sort of naive position of when we got into this. We didn’t look at something we thought was successful and then try to emulate it; try to reproduce it,” Chip told Deadline. “So, if we’re disruptive, it’s because we are completely original and completely authentic.”

One of the biggest moves for the Gaines couple has been the addition of their Magnolia Network content to HBO Max (recently rebranded to Max).
